Winton's Out Reach to Homeless

Some young couples from Winton have been giving a couple evenings a month of their time to bring food for the homeless in their local town of Merced. (pop. around 70,000). They also have devotions with them after the meal for all those interested. Some of the participants of these services have showed continued interest in coming to visit our congregation in Winton. The latest development is also to shift the meal from the beginning to the end of the month to feed more people. The couples split the expenses out of their own pocket. Some ladies gather the night before and prepare the food at Church. This is only to inspire others to maybe doing something similar in your own communities.

And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? James 2:16

Let's pray that these outreaches can bear more good fruit to our fellow men around us suppling for their spiritual and physical needs.
