Wiebe's Quotes-- Letters From A Martyred Christian

Realize that every person is a target of his bankruptcy.

God made you as a vessel that overflows with what is beautiful.  Because of this, you are a target.  Be careful.  Every part of you that is empty of God is filled with the “nothing” that describes this world.  Without God-filled confidence you are vulnerable to pride.  Being filled with His Spirit brings intimacy, and being barren of the same breeds codependence.  God is love, and lust fills the void of His absence. You will be filled either with Everything or with nothing.  The only way to discern the difference is to know Him.

One day this world will say, “Did you really think I could love you?”

Do not be taken in.

Why Gospel Tracts?

1. Tracts can get inside homes and stay there. You can't.

2. Tracts never lose their temper or become involved in arguments.

3. Tracts never flinch or show cowardice.

4. Tracts can stick to the point without compromising.

5. Tracts never get discouraged.

6. Tracts are willing to travel anywhere.

7. Tracts can work 24 hours per day.

8. Tracts are not expensive.

9. Tracts can be read many times over.

10. Tracts contain portions of Scripture, which God will use and bless (Isaiah 55:10,11).

(I do not know the authorship of these points--I recieved them from full time tract worker)

None in Hell

"Tracts everywhere!" said a young man with a sneer as a Christian handed him a gospel tract one afternoon. "No," said the tract distributor quietly, "there will be none in hell," and passed on. God fastened that single sentence in that young man's mind as a nail in a sure place and he could not get rid of it. "None in hell!" seemed to echo in his ears every time he saw a tract, and ultimately he was converted.
