This site is dedicated to the sharing of ideas and experiences of spreading the gospel in these last days. Christians are accountable to warn their fellow men about the Second Coming of Christ, whether it is through personal contacts, tract work, or preaching of the Word. As Noah we stand before an open door inviting any and all to enter before it is too late.....

Studing Biblical Egyptology
I was helping with some history homework tonight and found some interesting info on the Bible and Egyptology.
1. There was an Egyptian papyrus called "Ipuwer" or "Papyrus Leiden". It is an ancient Egyptian document that describes some of the plagues and upsets of Exodus. The similarities are striking.
2. We also took a turn and looked up on the mummy Yuya that could possibly be Joesph from the Bible. They found his hands in more of a Hebrew prayer position under his chin and not crossed across his chest like other Egyptian mummies. Their is evidence he had a beard in contrast to the shaven Egyptians. He was in charge of the horses and livestock. .........However the Bible states that they brought his body to Canaan in Joshua---so the mystery continues.......
These are just a few things that caught my eye. I am not dogmatic on them being absolutes, but it is interesting and inspiring to make connections with the possibilities.
